Luke Grimes comes from a family with three children: Racheal Grimes (his sister), Abby Grimes (her brother), and Seth Grimes. He grew up in the strict and religious home of his family, and went to Dayton Christian High School. Luke completed his Dayton Christian High School in 2002 and relocated in New York City, where he pursued his acting dream. He was enrolled in the American Academy of Dramatic Arts where he studied acting over two years. In order to improve his musical skills the guitarist also enrolled in classes as well as singing.
