Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American singer and songwriter that gained notoriety after she took home American Idol's 2002 talent competition. Clarkson was raised in Burleson (Texas) located in an area of Fort Worth. Her vocal abilities were noticed when she was 7 years old by the teacher who taught choir at the school she attended. When she graduated from high school Clarkson relocated towards Los Angeles, where she attempted unsuccessfully to get into show business. She was picked to compete on the Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol singing competition, which allowed viewers the opportunity to select their preferred artist. Clarkson's personality, her voice as well as her humour, were instantly appreciated by the viewers. Clarkson won $1 million, and a contract recording with RCA as her prize.
